Scope of Position:

FileControl is looking for a unique individual who can wear multiple hats while helping us to meet our needs as a growing technology company. This new strategic role would have multiple facets, all of which are important to the success of the person hired.

Background:

The ideal candidate will have a law degree and/or 10 years of successful experience at the intersection of law and technology.

Opening New Strategic Markets:

The goal would be to find new markets for us to sell into. This would include, but not be limited to, Kuwait, Canada, Dubai and the United Kingdom.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Managing Partners.
  A growing company must be able to manage partnerships independent of technology. The ideal candidate would have experience creating meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners, the press and industry influencers.
  
  
• Representing the company.
  A growing technology company needs an executive beyond the President and CEO who can represent the company in business meetings, speaking engagements and negotiations.
  
  
• Starting a billable consulting group.
  The goal would be to create a billable group within FileControl in order to create additional value for our clients and increase the marketplace perception of all of our solutions. As this would be a full time position, the candidate would need to turn it over to someone to manage after it launched.
  
  
• Getting the big meeting.
  This sub-role would be focused on bringing in large (Fortune 500) clients. These corporate clients will need to be found and tended to in order to create long-term opportunity.
  
  
• Running a possible business unit.
  FileControl may expand through acquisition. As this is the case, we are also looking for someone to possibly run a new business unit.
